Trump Asked What Message He Would Give Iranian Supreme Leader After Refusing To Surrender: 'Good Luck'

Trump Warns Iran’s Supreme Leader: US Knows Your Location, Holds Off 'For Now'

President Donald Trump was asked on Wednesday if he had a message for Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei after he said the country would not surrender amid ongoing Israeli attacks and the possibility that the U.S. will become involved in the war.

"I say good luck," Trump said while speaking to reporters outside the White House. "They had 60 days, plenty of time. They made a mistake. Their country is in ruins. So many people are dead who shouldn't be dead," he added.

Khamenei warned against U.S. strikes on Wednesday, saying President Donald Trump's call for "unconditional surrender" was "threatening and ridiculous." "Any U.S. military intervention will undoubtedly cause irreparable damage," added Khamenei, claiming that Israel had made a "huge mistake" by attacking and would be punished.

Trump was also asked what he told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during their conversations as the conflict continues. "Keep going. What do I say? I speak to him everyday. Good man. Been very unfairly treated by his country, I think," he added.

Israel continues striking Iran and vows to completely dismantle its nuclear and ballistic missile program while speculation mounts about whether the United States will enter the war. "I may hit, I may not hit, Iran is in a lot of trouble," Trump said in another passage of the ceremony, in which flag poles were erected outside the White House.

Elsewhere, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) issued a message in Persian to the Iranian community, providing a link to the Mossad's website for those who want to get in touch.
