The Donald Trump campaign announced it had raised $26m in June and the last week of May. Hillary Clinton raised $40.5m in June. But Trump’s number was about 10 times better than his previous high.

Clinton was outspending Trump 15-1 on TV ads, however. While Clinton and allied Super Pacs have spent $45m, Trump and allies have only spent $2.8m, according to SMG Delta/NBC News.
2. Clinton tours scenic Atlantic City
Clinton gave a speech outside the former Trump Plaza hotel and casino in Atlantic City, saying Trump has made millions for himself as his businesses went bankrupt, killing jobs and stranding creditors.

4. Trump veeps back away smiling
Two senators touted as potential Trump running mates, Bob Corker and Joni Ernst, graciously withdrew from consideration today. “I’m far more suited for other types of things,” Corker said.

Speaker Paul Ryan said that following the FBI’s finding that Clinton was “extremely careless” with classified material, she should not get the deep classified briefings presidential nominees typically would.
