CHICAGO _ Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and one of his advisers was ordered by a federal judge in Ohio not to engage in voter intimidation on Election Day.
The order was sought in a Democratic Party lawsuit against Trump and Roger Stone of the group Stop the Steal. Democrats cited comments by Trump at rallies across the country urging his supporters to go to the polls and watch for voter fraud.
Under the order, Trump, Stone and Stop the Steal, and those working for them, are barred from unauthorized poll watching or any other activity that could impede in any way with residents' voting.
The judge denied Democrats' request to include the Republican Party in the order. Similar lawsuits are pending against Trump and Stone in Nevada, Pennsylvania and Arizona.
