Donald Trump’s administration is finally ready to put the Jeffrey Epstein matter behind them. High-ranking members of the administration reportedly met to discuss the best way to release the 10-hour assessment transcript of Epstein ally Ghislaine Maxwell — including a possible appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast.
CNN released a report revealing that Vice President J.D. Vance, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche were expected to gather at the Vice President’s residence to discuss whether they should release the transcript from the assessment. They even reportedly planned to find a way to get a high-ranking member of their administration to get on the Joe Rogan Experiment podcast and quell the concerns of their key demographic.
The White House immediately dismissed the report. Trump was asked about the meeting directly at the White House and said he doesn’t know anything about a meeting. Vice President J.D. Vance then interjected, and they called the report “fake news.”

The strong denial of the report came by questioning the reliability of the media company that criticized him. According to The Daily Beast, White House Communications Director Steven Cheung told CNN, “This is nothing more than CNN desperately trying to create news out of old news. [Trump] already addressed this issue in an interview with Newsmax, a real news outlet that routinely gets better ratings than CNN.”
At Newsmax, Trump told his interviewer that he has no idea what was even on the transcripts. The president claims that he fully trusts Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche — who also happened to be his personal lawyer in the past. Trump explained that Blanche was probably getting a “feeling of it.” Trump explained his concern about who files might be named, saying that he would like to release the files but “we don’t wanna hurt people who shouldn’t get hurt.” Trump’s administration has maintained that they are most worried about the victims that could be further hurt if the public knew their identities. Most critics, doubt the president is telling the truth.
Whether they are yet to meet or already have gotten plans rolling, then reportedly Joe Rogan could be joining Newsmax in what the Trump administration now considers a “real news outlet.” Throughout the backlash against the second Trump administration — first with the harsh mass immigration agenda and dragging his feet on the Epstein issue — their podcast host loyalists have been drifting away from him.
The reported plan is Blanche going on a media blitz including Joe Rogan’s podcast where he will try to recapture the trust of their base. Online users on X are already accusing Joe Rogan of potentially betraying his audience if he tries to help out the administration. Another user claimed that there was no way Joe Rogan would give Trump the platform for a cover-up.

The administration claims that this new case has just been a distraction by the Democrats and that the only thing stopping them from the files is out of a need to protect victims. But there certainly are more reasons for this elongated period of waiting for the release of the files — reasons that will reveal themselves if they reveal the Maxwell transcript.
