TrueOnline is transforming from an internet service provider to an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven smart home platform with the launch of TrueOnline Home Next, combining high-quality home internet, smart Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and AI.
The service features TrueX Home Hub for smart home control, while Ami is a Thai-language AI assistant capable of responding to voice commands and managing connected devices throughout the home, functioning as a digital companion for family members.
Tanaphon Manavutiveth, chief home connectivity officer of True Corporation, said the company combined fibre broadband, AI and IoT smart devices into a unified system designed to enhance convenience, safety, entertainment and energy efficiency for modern households.
The intelligent home control platform is powered by Ami.
Thailand's home internet market is reaching an inflection point as consumer expectations evolve beyond internet speed, Mr Tanaphon said.
"In addition to fast internet, customers want solutions that make life at home easier, safer and more caring," he said.
Citing data from the Digital 2025 Thailand report by We Are Social and Meltwater, Mr Tanaphon noted Thai households use more than 12.3 million smart home devices, reflecting growing demand for connected living technologies.
However, many consumers still face challenges in managing multiple devices and fragmented systems, creating an opportunity for integrated AI-powered platforms, he said.
TrueOnline partnered with a global AI IoT cloud platform provider and T3 Technology to bring international smart home technologies to Thailand.
The company said the TrueX Home Hub can seamlessly connect with more than 3 million Tuya-compatible devices available in Thailand, creating a broad system for consumers.
Mr Tanaphon said the service delivers a complete smart home covering security, entertainment and energy management through a wide range of smart devices.
The service includes AI CCTV, Thailand's first AI-powered security camera capable of recognising people, babies crying and pets, identifying pet behaviour patterns and dangerous behaviours, summarising them into statistics and pet care recommendations in Thai language.
Additional smart devices include smart plugs with energy usage monitoring features and smart bulbs that support biorhythm mode, automatically adjusting lighting colour and brightness according to the body's biological clock.
