True Corporation, in collaboration with Kantana Group and Siam Piwat, has launched a huge digital community called True 5G Pro Hub to appeal to the lifestyles and interests of young consumers.
The hub, which cost around 300 million baht to develop, spans more than 2,000 square metres and is open on the fourth floor of Siam Discovery mall in Bangkok.
Tanaphon Manavutiveth, chief marketing officer at True Corp, said the hub would push Thailand's digital economy towards sustainable growth and serve as a space for meeting, learning and skill development for the new generation, catering to the digital needs of people of all ages.
Moreover, the space will serve as a tourist attraction, he said.
True has supported the project with its broadband internet and 5G smart networks.
The hub is the brainchild of three major partners: True, high-end property developer and retail business Siam Piwat, and the TV and movie production firm Kantana.
Ek-kawit Chaiwaranurak, group head of Siam Center & Siam Discovery at Siam Piwat, said Siam Discovery is centrally located in the Siam area where businesses, education and destinations for all lifestyles converge.
These factors make the hub a new community landmark for the new generation, according to Siam Piwat.
Jiraj Kaljaruek, marketing director at Kantana Group, said Kantana serves as a command centre to administrate the hub and develop new content and activities for it.
The hub aims to serve all lifestyles and interests of the new generation, whether they are gamers, lifestyle content creators or enthusiastic learners of future skills.
The area comprises seven zones: battle arena, MVP (most valuable player) space, play room, moon room, boost camp, private zone, and private streaming zone.
