True Geordie's cheeky Neymar request as Brazil legend meets Tyneside star

The popular YouTuber True Geordie met with Brazilian legend and Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar this week.

Brian Davis, whose YouTube channel True Geordie boasts 1.98 million subscribers, couldn't resist proposing a cheeky request to Neymar as he asked him if he would be joining Newcastle United.

Davis attended an event organised by Poker Stars along with fellow YouTuber Adam McKola. Neymar, whose future is uncertain in Paris following an alleged rift with Kylian Mbappe, inevitably laughed off the question.

True Geordie posted his meet and greet with Neymar on his official Twitter account, writing: 'I met @neymarjr yesterday and basically.... he's coming to Newcastle'. His light hearted tweet prompted some of his followers to jokingly call for Neymar to swap the French capital for Tyneside.

'Neymar to Newcastle. Agent True Geordie' tweeted @JS29_NUFC, while @geordieindevon tagged Neymar's Brazilian compatriots Bruno Guimaraes and Lucas Paqueta with the tweet: @neymarjr welcome to Newcastle.
