Apple TV+ has just released a trailer for the upcoming comedy series 'The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin,' featuring Noel Fielding as the legendary British highwayman. The show will premiere on March 1, with new episodes released every Friday through March 29. The story revolves around Dick Turpin, who finds himself reluctantly leading a band of outlaws and must outsmart the corrupt lawman Jonathan Wilde, played by Hugh Bonneville. The ensemble cast includes Ellie White, Marc Wootton, Duayne Boachie, Tamsin Greig, Asim Chaudhry, Dolly Wells, Joe Wilkinson, Mark Heap, Geoff McGivern, Michael Fielding, Samuel Leakey, and Kiri Flaherty. 'The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin' is a production of Apple Studios and Big Talk Studios, with creators Claire Downes, Ian Jarvis, and Stuart Lane at the helm.

The second trailer release from Apple TV+ is for the upcoming series 'Palm Royale,' which will debut on March 20. The show stars Kristen Wiig, Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and Ricky Martin. Set in 1969, 'Palm Royale' tells the story of Maxine Simmons (Wiig), an outsider attempting to break into the high society of Palm Beach. The log line reads, 'As Maxine tries to bridge the gap between the haves and the have-nots, 'Palm Royale' explores the question of how much one is willing to sacrifice to attain what others possess.' Joining the main cast are Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Amber Chardae Robinson, Mindy Cohn, Julia Duffy, and Kaia Gerber. The series is loosely based on the novel 'Mr. and Mrs. American Pie' by Juliet McDaniel and is produced by Apple Studios. Abe Sylvia serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner, with Laura Dern, Jayme Lemons, Kristen Wiig, Katie O'Connell Marsh, Tate Taylor, John Norris, Sharr White, and Sheri Holman also serving as executive producers.

For fans of unscripted programming, Apple TV+ will be bringing back the motorsports documentary series '100 Days to Indy' for its second season in the spring. This six-part series, produced by Penske Entertainment, offers viewers an exclusive look behind the scenes of the NTT IndyCar Series drivers as they prepare for the famous Indianapolis 500 Mile Race. The upcoming season will showcase reigning champion Josef Newgarden defending his title against a pool of talented competitors, including rising star Pato O'Ward, former Indy 500 champion Marcus Ericsson, and Series champion Alex Palou. The new season kicks off in March in St. Petersburg, Florida, and will feature a $1 million challenge at the Thermal Club in Southern California. Patrick Dimon and Adam Marinelli serve as co-executive producers.

In other news, Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment is forming a joint venture with Swirl Films to relaunch the FrightPIX streaming channel. FrightPIX is a horror-film-centered channel offering a variety of content, from zombie films to thrillers and feature-length horror movies. Through this partnership, Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment will contribute content from its Screen Media Ventures division, while Swirl Films will produce exclusive original content for FrightPIX and manage the channel. Eric Tomosunas, the CEO of Swirl Films/FrightPIX LLC, expressed excitement about the collaboration, stating that it allows them to expand their content offerings with quality productions at lower costs.

This marks another strategic move by Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment, following their recently announced joint venture with Fuel TV. By leveraging the expertise of third parties like Swirl Films, the company hopes to boost revenues for its existing properties through partnerships and innovative content offerings. With these exciting developments, Apple TV+ and Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment continue to offer diverse and captivating content to their audiences, catering to a range of interests and preferences.
