A truck driver watched 14 porn videos behind the wheel before hitting and killing a construction worker, prosecutors say.
Tate Doom, 47, from Minnesota, US, has been accused of viewing clips on Pornhub.com before the smash that claimed the life of Vernon Hedquist last year.
Mr Hedquist, 59, was working on a closed lane on Interstate 94, in Rogers, Minnesota, when he was fatally struck by a trailer which had become detached from a pickup truck.
Police seized two mobile phones from inside Doom's truck and allegedly discovered 14 deleted video files from Pornhub.com.
The clips had been playing since 1.40pm, with the last video starting at 2.07pm, just under two minutes before Doom crashed his vehicle, according to the Star Tribune .
Chuck Laszewski, spokesman for the Hennepin County Attorney's Office, said: "It appears, based on the investigation, that he was watching pornography at the time of [impact]."
Cindy Hedquist previously said her husband had been concerned about his safety on the job.
The construction worker was also a Sunday school teacher and was reportedly excited about his upcoming 60th birthday.
His colleague Thomas Wood, 64, was injured by flying debris in the crash.
Doom, who denies using his phone behind the wheel, was charged with criminal vehicular homicide and criminal vehicular operation last week.
It is claimed he was driving at 72 miles-per-hour in a 70 zone, although Doom reportedly says he was travelling at 50 miles-per-hour.
He is currently being held in custody ahead of a hearing on August 12.
