Multiple people were injured Wednesday when a truck and SUV crashed into each other in Park Manor on the South Side.
Emergency crews responded to the intersection of 71st and State Streets about 6:50 a.m. for reports of a “bad accident” involving a truck and SUV, according to preliminary information from Chicago police.
Multiple people were taken to St. Bernard Hospital and University of Chicago Medical Center for treatment, police said. No further information about the victims was immediately known.
Officers from the Chicago Police Department and Illinois State Police are both doing traffic control, Chicago police said.
