Truck jams under low rail bridge on Oxley Road at Corinda for second time in a week

A major arterial road in Brisbane's south-west was closed for several hours after another truck became stuck under a low rail bridge.

Emergency services were called to the rail bridge over Oxley Road at Corinda just before 9am after the truck hit the southern side of the bridge, travelling north.

It is the second time in less than a week a truck has hit the bridge.

Last Wednesday, a supermarket delivery truck hit the bridge, causing damage and spreading debris across the underpass.

Queensland Rail said there were no disruptions to rail services.

Police said there was a diesel spill at the site.

The truck has been removed from under the bridge and the road was reopened shortly before 4pm.
