Truck Festival 2022 announces host of stellar new acts set to join headliner Sam Fender

Oxfordshire's biggest dedicated rock and pop gathering - Truck Festival - has added a clutch of new bands to the line-up for this year's hotly-anticipated event.

Sea Girls, Jaws, The Murder Capital and Cassia have been announced as part of a wave of new acts to play the festival, held at Hill Farm, Steventon – which will celebrates its 25th anniversary this summer.

Fresh from selling out Brixton Academy on their last UK tour, Sea Girls are over the moon to have secured a slot at Hill Farm later this year.

Returning for what is sure to be a highlight of the weekend for many, the appearance will follow shortly after the release of their second album ‘Homesick’, which promises to overflow with mammoth riffs and momentous sing-a-longs if singles ‘Sick’ and ‘Again Again’ are anything to go by.

“We are so happy to be playing The 25th anniversary of Truck Festival. We love it so much and have made some amazing memories there, so we hope it comes around quick!”

Also playing over the weekend July 22-24 are Noisy, Crawlers, The Hara, Folly Group, Courting, Grandmas House, Deep Tan, Sofy and Jacquard Looms.

The new acts will take to the stage with previously announced headliners Sam Fender, Kasabian, Bombay Bicycle Club, The Kooks and Blossoms.

Arguably the most talked-about UK artist of the past 12 months, Sam Fender steps up for a momentous headline performance - pulling from his rapturously received second album ‘Seventeen Going Under’ that has commanded 5 star ratings and packed out venues over the past few months.

With a stunning collection of hits in his back pocket and an impassioned live show primed for the biggest of stages, expect his headline turn at Truck Festival to be a seminal moment for a star soundtracking a new generation like no other.
