A 48-year-old man has died in a truck crash on Friday morning at Stuarts Well south of Alice Springs.
Police received reports a commercial truck had rolled on the Stuart Highway about 7:40am.
Stuarts Well is located on the highway, 90 kilometres south of Alice Springs.
The driver of the truck was declared dead at the scene.
Northern Territory Police said it was investigating the fatal crash.
"Investigators are on scene and are expected to remain for the rest of the day," Detective Acting Senior Sergeant Corey Borton said.
"Diversions and speed restrictions are in place and police are urging motorists to avoid the area if possible.
"If you are in the area please slow down and follow all member directions."
NT Police said a report will be prepared for the coroner.
