A truck has crashed into power lines in Hume, triggering an electricity outage in the suburb.

Emergency crews were called to Arnott Street around 9am.

A spokesman for the ACT Emergency Services Agency said no injuries have been reported from the incident.

Evoenergy says power should be restored by 11am.

Arnott Street will remain closed while the site is made safe.

Residents and workers have been asked to avoid the area.
