Tottenham fans got a further glimpse of Troy Parrott in action as he came off the substitutes' bench in Tuesday's 1-0 win over Real Madrid in the Audi Cup.
The 17-year-old made quite a name for himself last season after banging in goals for fun for the club's youngsters and many have tipped him to star for Spurs in the future.
Named by Mauricio Pochettino in his squad for the pre-season tour of Asia, Parrott caught the eye in the games against Juventus and Manchester United with two impressive performances.
The manager fielded a strong starting XI on Tuesday against Real at the Allianz Arena and the forward had to make do with a place on the substitutes' bench.
However, he did get his opportunity in the final 25 minutes as he replaced Harry Kane upfront.
Parrott did cause problems for Los Blancos as he put himself about and he almost netted his first goal for the senior side in the closing minutes of the game.
Collecting a ball from fellow substitute Georges-Kevin Nkoduou, the Irishman fired in a low shot but it struck Keylor Navas' post and bounced back into the play.

The striker was incredibly unlucky to see his shot not find the far corner and he summed it up perfectly on his Instagram story after the game.
He posted an image of him with his hands on his head after hitting the post with the caption 'just go in'.
Spurs are back in action once again at the Allianz Arena later this evening as they take on Bayern Munich in the final of the Audi Cup.
Parrott will be hoping he can go one better and find the back of the net against the German side as Pochettino will more than likely shuffle his pack once again.
