Troubled waters

What is going on when Royal Navy boats "stray" into Iranian waters (Iran seizes navy boats, June 22)? A quick internet search shows that hand-held marine satellite global positioning devices accurate to 3m are commonly available. Surely the Navy would supply its sailors with equipment at least as good as amateur boat-owners.

I read with astonishment the critical letters about the proposed Vortex building (Letters, June 22). I think the structure will be beautiful, and it is a marvellous thought that it will be visible from all the hills surrounding London. I also think wind turbines are beautiful.
