'Trouble' - Leeds United fans left split after late West Ham blow extends winless run

Leeds United fans have been left with contrasting emotions after the Whites fell to a 2-1 defeat in the dying seconds against West Ham United.

Despite being heavily depleted by the absence of Luke Ayling and Patrick Bamford, in addition to Robin Koch, Diego Llorente and Pascal Struijk, United took an early lead through Raphinha.

The Brazilian, who was a doubt for the match himself, finished calmly after Mateusz Klich's pressure forced an error from the West Ham defence.

However, after Michail Antonio saw a goal ruled out for a foul on Illan Meslier, Jarrod Bowen levelled the scores with a strike that deflected off Junior Firpo and into the net.

Antonio was not denied in the final minutes of normal times though as he gave the Hammers a late winner, crushing Leeds hearts in the process.

Though it's fine margins, supporters have been left with differing emotions after the match.

Without a win in six, some are concerned that a relegation battle could be on the cards, whilst others are urging for fans to keep the faith in Marcelo Bielsa's side.

After a run of tough opponents at the start of the season, Leeds now face a near must-win match against Watford next weekend before facing Southampton after the international break.
