(Reuters) - A depression in the Gulf of Mexico could develop into a tropical storm by Tuesday night, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
The system, located about 220 miles (360 km) east of La Pesca, Mexico, is moving west at about 7 miles per hour (11 km/h), and has prompted a tropical storm warning for northeastern Mexico, the Miami-based weather forecaster.
