(Reuters) - Tropical storm Leslie is expected to begin strengthening later on Monday, and could be near hurricane strength in a few days, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said in its latest advisory.
Leslie is located about 1,135 miles (1,825 kilometers) west of the Azores, packing maximum sustained winds of 50 miles (85 kilometers) per hour, the NHC said.
