Tropical Storm Harvey forms in Atlantic Ocean: NHC

(Reuters) - Tropical Storm Harvey became the eighth named storm of the 2017 Atlantic hurricane season, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said on Thursday.

Tropical Storm Harvey was located about 355 miles (570 km) east of St. Lucia with maximum sustained winds of 40 miles per hour (65 km per hour), the Miami-based forecaster noted.
