Tropical depression Thirteen has formed over the central Atlantic on Wednesday and is expected to strengthen further into a tropical storm by late Thursday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
The depression located about 1,035 miles (1,670 kilometers) east-southeast of the Northern Leeward Islands, packing maximum winds of 35 miles per hour (55 km/h), is moving west-northwest, the NHC said.
