Tropical depression Seventeen has formed over the central tropical Atlantic and is expected to become a tropical storm on Monday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
The system is located about 1,160 miles (1,865 km) west of the Cape Verde Islands with maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour (55 kmh), the NHC said on Sunday.
