(Reuters) - Tropical Depression 19 has formed over the central Atlantic and is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm later on Monday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NHC) said.
The system is about 1,470 miles (2,370 km) west-southwest of the Azores with maximum sustained winds of 35 miles per hour (55 kph), the Miami-based weather forecaster said.
