Dean Keenan insists Troon are ready to come out the blocks as they strive to make this season one to remember.
The Portland Park No 2 has already been boosted with the return of fans to pre-season friendlies following the Covid lock-out.
And he wants to give the Seasiders faithful plenty to cheer as they line up for the beginning of their West of Scotland League Premier Division campaign.
"We’re looking forward to getting the league campaign underway," he said ahead of Saturday's opener at Kilwinning Rangers. "Hopefully a memorable season for the club on and off the pitch.
"Getting back to proper football, in front of supporters, is going to be fantastic and the players are all looking forward to that.
"Pre-season has been great to see limited numbers of supporters back in, but a proper crowd will make a world of difference."
Troon face a serious early examination of their credentials with a trip to fancied Kilwinning Rangers on Saturday as Keenan admits his side are targeting a safety-first approach.
"Players are in good spirits after a positive pre season although we know only too well how tough a game it’s going to be," he added.
"They blooded our nose in a friendly earlier this pre-season and we will need to be at our absolute best to have any chance of coming away with a positive result.
"Kilwinning will be as strong a test as we could get for our first game. They’ve recruited incredibly well this summer and their squad is up there with the best."
