Police have sealed off a Troon car park.
Eye witnesses have seen several police heading towards the town centre.
A car park in Academy Street has been sealed off.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police in Troon are dealing with an ongoing incident at a car park in Academy Street, Troon.
"Part of the car park remains cordoned off whilst enquiries are completed.
"There is no wider risk to the public.
"The partial closure of the car park will impact on parking in the town."
