Troon came from behind to beat 10-man Largs Thistle in a controversial clash at Portland Park this afternoon.
The Seasiders deservedly trailed to a fine William Sewell strike at half-time.
But goals from Tommy Maitland, Sam Jamieson and substitute Joirdan Vernon turned the match on its head after the break.
Jimmy Kirkwood's men were undoubtedly the better side in the second half but the debatable dismissal of Largs striker Blair Docherty in 66 minutes - with the scoreline at 1-1 - made their job easier.
They were helped too by a couple of clangers from Largs goalkeeper Daniel Farrell who gift-wrapped two goals and was lucky not to see red himself after deliberately handling outside his penalty area.
Largs went into the West of Scotland Premier Division clash on the back of a credible 3-3 draw against Hurlford last Saturday and they made a confident start.
Sewell warmed Troon keeper Marc Fisher's gloves with a snap shot from 15 yards as the visitors registered the game's first shot on target in six minutes.
Stuart Davidson's side looked sharper in the tackle and as a result enjoyed more of the ball, albeit clear cut chances were hard to come by in the opening half hour.
They made the breakthrough in 36 minutes when the industrious Craig Forbes won a 50-50 tackle in the middle of the park and Sewell latched on to the loose ball, driving forward and drilling an excellent low shot into the corner of the net from 25 yards.

Troon could have no complaints at the interval having registered just one shot on target in the opening 45 minutes, a Jamieson free-kick that was easy meat for Farrell.
But there was far more energy about them after the restart, Ray Montgomerie blazing a half chance over the bar inside 60 seconds.
It was then time for the game's first major flashpoint in 50 minutes when Farrell raced from his box to clear an incoming punt only to misjudge the bounce and throw up his arm at the last minute to fist the ball away.
To Troon's disgust, the goalie escaped with just a yellow card - referee Gary Hanvidge ruling that the offence had not prevented a clear goal scoring opportunity.
Troon centre-half Darren Miller struck the outside of the post from the resulting free kick but it was clear that the momentum had now swung in the home side's favour.

They levelled matters just before the hour mark when Ben Black's inswinging flag kick delivery was completely missed by the flapping Farrell and Maitland was on hand to head home from point blank range.
Largs' afternoon then went from bad to worse in 66 minutes when Docherty was sent for an early bath after picking up his second caution of the day.
The striker was late into an aerial challenge with Maitland who dramatically hit the turf clutching his face. Contact looked minimal but whistler Hanvidge wasn't slow in reaching for his pocket to leave Largs down to 10-men.
Troon's tails were well and truly up now and they got their noses in front in 76 minutes, Sam Jamieson stooping to head home another Black corner kick.
Largs struggled to create chances as they looked to get back in the match, Sewell trying his luck with a bicycle kick that was straight at Fisher.
And their hopes of salvaging even a point were dashed three minutes from time when Fisher dithered clearing on the edge of his own box and sub Vernon nipped in to poke the ball home.
