TRNSMT to host 'TRNSMT AT HOME’ stream this weekend to fill 2020 festival void

Music fans are in for a treat with the news that TRNSMT Festival is to host a special‘TRNSMT AT HOME’ stream to mark what would have been TRNSMT 2020 in the city.

In what organisers are calling 'a jam-packed weekend of festival fun', the ‘TRNSMT AT HOME’ stream will feature exclusive content from some of the most exciting artists set to perform at TRNSMT 2021 - plus some TRNSMT alumni.

Hosted by presenter Laura Boyd, fans can expect performances from the likes of Fontaines D.C, Vistas, The LaFontaines, Joy Crookes, Dylan John Thomas, The Ninth Wave, Luke La Volpe,  Kawala,  Rascalton, Voodoos, Tamzene, Charlotte and Spyres.

Determined to give TRNSMT fans a festival experience on a weekend which would have seen thousands of music fans flock to Glasgow Green, ‘TRNSMT AT HOME’ will kick off on the TRNSMT Festival Facebook and YouTube pages at 5pm on Saturday (July 11).

Following the stream, BBC Scotland will air a TRNSMT Takeover at 9pm on Saturday featuring highlights from the festival’s star-studded history including artists such as Biffy Clyro, Lewis Capaldi and Radiohead.

TRNSMT returns to Glasgow Green in 2021, with artists announced to performing including Liam Gallagher, Courteeners, Ian Brown, Sam Fender, Blossoms, Foals, Keane, Twin Atlantic, Snow Patrol, Rita Ora, Amy Macdonald and Declan McKenna.
