TRNSMT star Stormzy delights injured fan and pal with shock visit after they missed rap hero's show

Rap hero Stormzy delighted two fans who missed his show after a TRNSMT fall by nipping into see them after he came off stage and offered free tickets to a future gig.

James Weir, 21, got sent to a nearby medical tent after falling over at the start of the performance, when five people fell on top of him.

James and his friend KJ Kirkland, 16, said they had to listen to the full performance from the medical tent, and were absolutely gutted to miss out.

KJ, from Leith in Edinburgh, said "We were enjoying Stormzy at the start when James fell over and a number of people fell on top of him. We had to listen to the full performance from the medical tent, and it was absolutely gutting."

But the two young men's luck changed when James got put in an ambulance to go to an on site hospital, and the rap star happened to walk past.

KJ said "We were about to leave in the ambulance when Stormzy walked by, so I shouted him over.

"He shook our hands and told us he felt bad about us missing the performance, and was gonna try sort us out in the future to a gig."

In the picture shared on social media, uploaded by KJ's sister Angel, KJ and James can be seen posing with Stormzy while James is in an ambulance bed.

James is fine now and is recovering at home.
