TRNSMT 2019 - hilarious moment excited fans spot Lewis Capaldi posing under Glasgow billboard

He may not be closing the main stage, but he's the act thousands of TRNSMT goers are most looking forward to seeing.

And Lewis Capaldi is just as excited to be in Glasgow today for the final day of the Glasgow Green festival as his fans are about his imminent performance.

The singer/songwriter is well-known for his hilarious antics, not least his Insta-stories which have lots of us in tears on regular occasions.

And today, after a wee trip out shopping with his mum in Livingston, the chart-topper is preparing for the TRNSMT crowds, by posing at the foot of a billboard advertising his appearance down by the Clyde.

The Someone You Love hitmaker, who has been embroiled in a well-publicised spat with Noel Gallagher over the past wee while, has just uploaded an update from the sign near the Hydro, which heralds the arrival of the "Scottish Beyonce" to our fair city.

While the words are unrepeatable on a family-friendly website, those of you with the tools can head over and watch what he has to say for yourself.

And make sure to keep viewing until the end, when you'll see Lewis' Pied-Piper moment as a couple of his eagle-eyed fans spot him and make a beeline (hilarious).

Now, after Stormzy paid tribute to him on Friday night, we're waiting to see if he repays the favour tonight...

Over to you, pal...
