FOOD and drink prices for this weekend's TRNSMT festival have been revealed, showing a noticeable rise compared to previous years.
The three-day event, which returns to Glasgow Green from July 11 – 13, will feature more than 50 food vendors serving a wide variety of options, from street food to traditional favourites.
Festival-goers will see an increase in the cost of refreshments, with a standard pint now priced at just under £7.
Prices for cocktails, wine, and food items have also gone up, reflecting broader inflation trends seen across UK events.
All bars and food stalls will remain cashless, accepting only card and contactless payments.
Organisers have emphasised the variety of offerings, including plant-based options and world cuisine, with returning and new vendors giving ticket holders choices from Italian, American and Indian food to standard UK festival fare.
A standard portion of chips is expected to cost around £5 whilst loaded fries will set you back £14.25.
Pizzas begin at around £12.50, with the most expensive option priced at £15.50.
Fish and chips are available from £13 per portion, with alternative options including battered sausage, scampi, fish cake, smoked salmon and vegetarian haggis.
