TRNSMT 2022: Met Office forecasts Glasgow temperatures to hit 23C for Sunday line up

TRNSMT fans heading to Glasgow Green for the final day will bask in 23C heat, according to the Met Office.

For day three of the festival, fans should take care with sun cream and keep hydrated as the day is set to be bright, sunny, dry and hot as temperatures rise above 20C. This comes after ticket holders were left waiting at the entry barriers for around three hours on Saturday with attendees claiming it was around two hours before they were given water.

TRNSMT issued an update yesterday warning festival-goers to prepare for long queues and to stay hydrated. Today, music fans will feel the heat from 12pm as temperatures will hit 21C as the first acts kick off the final day of TRNSMT and will hit 23C at 2pm until 6pm before it slowly drops slightly to 21C for the evening until sunset at 10pm.

From 12pm today, Bruce Glenny will start the day off with his techno tracks at The Boogie Bar, Crawlers will begin at 12.15pm at the King Tut's stage, while Alex Amor will kick off things at the River Stage at 12.50pm and Nina Nesbit will open the main stage at 12.35pm.

Closing TRNSMT will be Glasgow born Lewis Capaldi at 9:20pm - 10:50pm following Wolf Alice. Ticket holders have been warned to plan their travel as there will be no trains leaving Glasgow after Lewis Capaldi.
