Legendary Glasgow festival TRNSMT have issued an update for anyone going to the 2021 event with organisers releasing the official site map ahead of next month.
The three-day music festival will take place at Glasgow Green from September 10 to 12 with headline acts The Courteeners on September 10, Liam Gallagher on September 11 and The Chemical Brothers on September 12.
According to the layout map, the main stage will be opposite the Nelson Monument and the smaller King Tut's stage next to the east entrance closer to the River Clyde.
There is also the River Stage and five main bars, a VIP bar, and Red Bull, Pepsi, Fountain Hard Seltzer and a Boogie bar dotted across the festival site.
Also at the site is a ferris wheel and an additional 13 different food stands.
In addition to the new update, festival-goers will also have to show proof of a negative covid test before entry with organisers asking people to order or collect free test kits as soon as possible.
Those attending over multiple days will be required to take a second lateral flow test 48 hours after the first.
TRNSMT has not been held in two years since 2019 thanks to the pandemic where up to 150,000 people will attend the event over a three day period, the same capacity pre-pandemic.
The music festival was originally due to take place in July during the height of summer but was delayed due to covid restrictions.
As a result, Lewis Capaldi was pulled from the Sunday headliner slot and replaced as was Ian Brown who was replaced by The Snuts.
Geoff Ellis, Festival Director said: “We’ve got an amazing line-up and can’t wait to be back on Glasgow Green, welcoming up to 50,000 fans per day for what is set to be an amazing weekend.
“This year, anyone attending must play their part and present proof of a negative lateral flow test, taken within 48 hours of arrival at the event.
"The tests are completely free of charge and really easy to do, showing a result within 30 minutes which can be instantly uploaded to receive a confirmation text message or email.
"But I would urge fans to order them as soon as possible and visit the TRNSMT website if they have any queries.”
