TRNSMT 2021 day two in pictures as Scots Nathan Evans and Primal Scream rock Glasgow Green

Glasgow Green was bustling for day two of TRNSMT and the excitement was palpable from dawn until dusk at the long awaited music festival

Up to 50,000 music fans descended into the city centre parkland to soak up the atmosphere, the food and drink and electric performances.

The Green was a hive of activity, with the chaos a much needed celebration of music and togetherness.

The Scots musicians were in force from Nathan Evans to Dylan John Thomas and Twin Atlantic to Primal Scream and the crowd looked like they loved every minute as they came together.

For many it was their first gig since Covid lockdown, and for others it was a coming of age.

The air might have been cooler as the evening fell, but the party loving throng warmed up.

Liam Gallagher headlines the second day with huge crowds expected to belt out Oasis classics and some of his newer hits.
