TRNSMT 2019: Umbrellas, frisbees and selfie sticks among items you won't be allowed in with

With TRNSMT kicking off today, crowds of festival-goers are gearing up to head through to Glasgow from the capital.

Scottish favourites including Gerry Cinnamon and Lewis Capaldi will be on the main stage at the three day festival taking place at Glasgow Green, as well as the legendary Stormzy.

But before you head off, there are a number of banned items that you need to know about - and it even includes umbrellas.

Here is a full list of the items that you won't be allowed in with.

You are also not allowed to bring your own food and drink, this must be bought on site.

Persons aged between 12-15 year olds must also be accompanied by an adult 21 and over (1 adult minimum per 4 persons ages between 12-15 years old).

There were similar rules in place for the Spice Girls' gig at Murrayfield earlier this year.

However bins at the stadium were overflowing with prohibited items that had to be dumped by festival-goers, particularly umbrellas and oversized bags.
