TRNSMT 2019: First look around festival site at bars, free McNuggets and the main stage

TRNSMT 2019 is under 24 hours away and music fans are getting excited.

This year the three day festival is expected to be bigger and better than ever before.

And as the organisers put the finishing touches to the site, we took a sneak peak inside to see what fans can expect.

From the main stage, King Tut's stage, to the McNugget bar and Platform on Tour, we visited the site to find out how it's all shaping up.

And with the weather set to be dry and bright all weekend in Glasgow , we are sure it's going to be a good one.

There's lots of bars, the portaloos are up, and the main stage is almost complete. There's also lots of seating areas near the Utilia Power Tree and Platform on Tour.

Geoff Ellis, DF Concerts organiser of the festival, told the Daily Record he's delighted to be back at Glasgow Green for another year.

He said: "It's a fantastic looking site, the council have done a great job of the green and it looks amazing. We have first class stages, and we hope there's good weather to enjoy.

"It's not all about the main stage, it's about the King Tut's stage and the new addition of the Queen Tut's stage as well. There's wonderful food stalls as well, especially in the Platform area."

Check out our video tour above to see exactly how the site looks.
