Tristan Thompson is turning to the courts to stop 'babymama' Kimberly Alexander claiming her fathered her five-year-old son.
The NBA star has hit out at 'out-and-out lies' that have alleged that he is the dad and TMZ has reported that he is filing a lawsuit against his accuser.
The 29-year-old basketball player has admitted to taking a paternity test to prove that he is not the dad and after repeatedly denying the claim, has said that that the results of the test are proof that this is the case.
It has been reported that the paternity test that he took in January "definitively concluded that [he] is not the father," and the lawsuit reflects that.
He has filed for damages from Kimberly for 'publicly lying' about him only taking a "at-home paternity test," with the NBA star insisting that he actually used one of the most reputable laboratories in the country.
Tristan allegedly offered to take a second test, to prove the first, as long it is processed by another reputable laboratory.
TMZ has reported that Tristan has even turned to Michael Jackson in the docs, with him writing: "To quote Michael Jackson, 'The kid is not [his] son.'"
Tristan is also alleging that the only reason why Kimberly has accused him of being the father is because she has fallen on hard times.
In the lawsuit documents, Tristan allegedly claims that Kimberly has been evicted from five houses in the past seven years and was looking for a pay day.
It had all kicked off in the public domain after Kimberly posted the supposedly confidential DNA report on her Instagram page.
She accused the laboratory of 'sabotage' and captioned the pic of the report with: "I know for sure that Tristan Thompson is the father of my child."
Kimberly then brought Khloe Kardashian into the mix by accusing her of paying off the lab to 'fix the results'.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star along with Tristan, who is the father of her daughter True, sent Kimberly a cease-and-desist letter, but the 'babymama' went public with that too, posting it on her social media.
Reports in US media have stated that she has now been dropped by her attorney Lisa Bloom, who has represented a host of celebrities in the past.
