Tristan Thompson appears to be trying to win Khloe Kardashian over through their daughter True.
Just one hour before he posted a grovelling apology to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star on his Instagram story, Tristan was pictured giving the three-year-old 100 red roses.
He was caught on camera delivering the expensive gift to his daughter mere minutes before begging Khloe to forgive him after a paternity test proved that he fathered a child behind her back.
The basketball player was in a relationship with Khloe - who had already forgiven him for cheating on her and publicly humiliating her twice - when he slept with Maralee Nichols and got her pregnant.
He had originally tried to shut the whole thing down before admitting that he had slept with her, but insisting he was not the father of her son, born on November 1.
Speaking out to admit everything, he wrote on Instagram: "Today paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.
"I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.
"I sincerely apologize to everyone I've hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.
"Khloe, you don't deserve this. You don't deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you."
He continued: "You don't deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.
"I have the upmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry."
Tristan, 30, was caught on video picking up his daughter from her gymnastics class on Tuesday.
He was seen standing outside an SUV as another man brought over what TMZ estimated to be 100 roses.
Tristan, who plays for Sacramento Kings, was in town to play the LA Lakers and is said to have bought the flowers for True as he hadn't seen her in a few days.
