Tristan Thompson has spoken out about his availability when he met Khloe Kardashian in a bid to stop trolls 'attacking her online'.
The NBA star has insisted that he was single when he started dating the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, despite Khloe sharing that she knew his ex was pregnant when they met.
Tristan has had a complicated week with his former flames after reports that he had met up with the mother of his two-year-old son Prince.
It had been reported that Tristan had reunited with Jordan Craig on a holiday in Jamaica but he has taken this down in a tweet that he posted on Wednesday.
He wrote: "I have spent the last few months training for my upcoming NBA season and making sure that I am in the best shape possible.
"I have not been on vacations at all this summer and the current rumors spreading are 100% false."
While he was in the mood to debunked theories about his life, Tristan decided to defend ex Khloe after she was trolled about how the pair met and whether he was bone fide single at the time.
He also insisted that both his children's mothers are "great" and that they 'didn't deserve the backlash' that had been directed their way.
Tristan wrote on Twitter : "Also, when I met Khloe I was SINGLE. The negative comments that are constantly being directed towards her are unnecessary.
"She does not deserve all this backlash for my wrong doings. Both Khloè and Jordan have been nothing but great mothers to my kids."
This comes a few weeks after Khloe posted a lengthy apology to Tristan's ex on Instagram .
Amid suggestions that Tristan's relationship with Jordan was not over, Khloe wrote: "I met Tristan because HE CHOSE to go on a blind date with me. A mutual friend set us up.
"After going on some dates, Tristan told me that he had an ex that was pregnant.
"Obviously, I was reluctant about us continuing to date or start a relationship.
"He pleaded with me that the relationship was over long before we met."
Khloe then went on to say that she consulted others that knew Tristan well.
She continued: "He had me talk with his inner circle. He showed me physical proof (correspondence between the two) and had me on calls with his lawyers to prove his point.
"His best friends, business associates and even his mother told me, him and his ex were broken up before we met."
Khloe then went on to apologise to Jordan if this 'truth' was not actually real.
She added: "This is my truth! The truth I believed and trusted. If for any reason this is NOT in fact the truth, I am so completely and utterly sorry that TRISTAN and his inner circle would lie on something like this!
"I pray my truth is in-fact that. Lord knows I pray but now, I really don’t know what to believe.
"Truthfully, from the deepest parts of my soul I am sorry! I’m sorry for any pain that has been created either way. No woman deserves to go through anything like this!
"This is MY TRUTH"
