Trisha Goddard engaged for fourth time after mystery boyfriend's romantic proposal

Trisha Goddard is over the moon to be engaged!

The TV personality, 64, has been married three times before making this her fourth engagement.

Trisha unveiled her gorgeous new ring - a huge cushion-cut sapphire framed with diamonds - on social media platform TikTok.

Beaming from ear to ear, she can be seen playfully showing off the bling on her ring finger in the footage.

"I'm so happy!", she told The Sun, "I said I’d never say [I ]do though again… but..."

Trisha also dished that it is the first time she has been presented with a ring during a proposal, as she added: "First time ANYONE has bought ME an engagement ring! In the past, I’ve had to buy my own…"

The outlet tells that Trisha's smitten man - who lives in Connecticut, USA - bent the knee whilst they took part in a romantic hike over the New Year break.

Broadcaster Trisha has tied the knot three times before, her first marriage was with Australian politician Robert Nestdale.

He died from AIDS in 1989 - something Trisha did not know until his funeral as he had told her he was ill with lymphoma.

Trisha then wed Aussie TV producer Mark Greive and they share daughters Billie and Madison together.

Trisha is set to be fronting the show's reboot (ITV)

They split in 1996 and Trisha then said 'I do' to psychotherapist Peter Gianfrancesco.

The couple were an item for almost 20 years from 1998 to 2017.

Trisha has previously explained how her and Peter's marriage broke down, partly due to her cancer diagnosis.

"I recovered from breast cancer. I have to say, it probably, in the end, proved a bit of a death knell for my relationship," she told Lorraine Kelly in January 2018.

"What do you say. It's difficult. It's 20 years. He absolutely was my rock, but then things really started going downhill. I think both of us changed."

The couple divorced in 2017, but Trisha only announced they had secretly split a year later.

Trisha continued: "How you feel after breast cancer, and what it does to you, and how it affects your love life.

"There's a statistic out that says there's a very high risk of women's marriages and relationships breaking down after breast cancer, although if a man has cancer it's not the same way."

She added: "I ended up being made to feel very, very ugly and very unwomanly.

"I did work very hard at keeping the marriage together, but there came a point when I just had to call time, because mentally, physically, everything else, I just couldn't do it anymore."
