Tottenham will be happy with the 2-0 victory over Southampton, but one aspect has left a bitter taste in supporters' mouths.
While the performance was largely decent, Serge Aurier's sending off has left a lot of fans feeling a bit miffed.
While some have questioned whether the decision to give him his second yellow card was correct, Charlie Nicholas said that Aurier should have known better.
He said: "The first one was rash, he ends up trying to do the wrap, two feet round, the second one they complained that Hojbjerg was controlling it on the line and out of play.
"He doesn't cut across the guy but he's clumsy, it was slightly harsh, but these are the modern day yellows we have to go along with and accept they're so soft. To grind out a 2-1 with ten men, Spurs will be pretty pleased with that."
What made his sending off even more difficult to swallow was Kieran Trippier's stunning performance against Real Madrid.
The full-back has been a revelation since leaving Tottenham in favour of a fresh challenge Atletico Madrid, where he has established himself as a key part of Diego Simeone's plans.
Trippier's new side drew Saturday's game with their rivals 0-0, with many praising the full-back for his performance.
Here's what the Spurs fans made of his display.
