
Three men were wounded in a shooting Monday in Brainerd on the South Side.
The shooting happened at 12:11 p.m. in the 9300 block of South Racine Avenue, according to preliminary information from Chicago police. A 24-year-old was shot in the head, a 23-year-old was shot in the back and an 18-year-old was shot in the left foot.
All three were taken to hospitals, with the two youngest in good condition, police said. The 24-year-old’s condition was not immediately known.
The circumstances of the shooting are not unknown, police said.
Area South detectives are investigating.
