Trio of Packers land on PFF’s 50 best players list for 2019

The Green Bay Packers placed three players on the PFF50, a list of the 50 best players entering the 2019 NFL season.

Defensive lineman Kenny Clark, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and offensive tackle David Bakhtiari all ranked among PFF’s 50 elite players.

Clark, the fourth-year interior disruptor and 2016 first-round pick, came in at No. 37. Rodgers ranked as the fourth-highest quarterback at No. 17, while Bakhtiari led all Packers players and NFL offensive linemen at No. 13.

Receiver Davante Adams did not make the top 50, despite finishing last season with the ninth-best PFF grade at his position.

Los Angeles Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald earned the top spot on the list. Tom Brady held the second spot and was the list’s top quarterback. The New Orleans Saints had a league-high five players on the list.

The Packers actually led the NFC North in number of players. The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions each had two players, while the Minnesota Vikings had one.
