Trio appear at Lanarkshire court on heroin and cannabis supply charges

Two Lanarkshire men appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court this week on heroin and cannabis supply charges.

Stephen Jones Jnr., 30, of Forrest Road, Salsburgh, and Lee Jones, 21, from Mavisbank Street in Airdrie, were joined in the dock by Stephen Jones Snr., 54, of Partick.

It's alleged they were concerned in the supply of heroin at the home address of Jones junior on October 23, 2019.

Further charges state that the three men were in possession of cannabis resin and had a quantity of the Class B drug with intent to supply others.

Solicitors for the men lodged not guilty pleas and the case was adjourned until February.
