Trinny Woodall’s makeup company, Trinny London, has won an entrepreneurship award after launching in 63 countries in less than a year.

The makeover adviser, famous for Noughties show What Not To Wear, was named as one of the most successful female entrepreneurs at the 2018 NatWest everywoman Awards yesterday.

She was recognised along with other female entrepreneurs including PR consultant Chloe Franses and Melanie Goldsmith who sells boozy sweets.

The overall winner was Karen Emanuel, who founded music manufacturing business Key Production.

Trinny was presented with the Brand of the Future Award by The White Company’s Chrissie Rucker.

Female-owned firms contribute £105 billion to the UK economy, according to the Federation of Small Businesses.
