Trinity Mirror: speculation before the decisions

It will come as no surprise that I'll be writing at some length later this week about the future for Trinity Mirror. Meanwhile, ahead of Wednesday's board meeting, there has been much speculation about the likely decisions. The Observer reports that shareholders will greet anything less than "radical action" with "stinging criticism". And Scotland on Sunday forecasts that the group's money-spinning Racing Post will be the only significant sell-off. Problem for the board, evidently, is that no-one wants the rest so the only option is renewed cost-cutting - and more agony for journalists. (Via The Observer and Scotland on Sunday)
