Trinetra Guard, powered by ELD Mandate, Announces the Launch of EM6000: An Anti-Theft Device for Trailers and Cargo

Trinetra Guard, powered by ELD Mandate, a provider of technology solutions for the trucking industry, announced the release of its latest innovation, the EM6000, an anti-theft and automated lift device designed for trailers and cargo. This launch comes at a critical time, as trailer and cargo theft across the US has been steadily rising, costing the transportation sector an estimated $35 billion annually.

Unlike existing telematics solutions that simply track assets after they have been stolen, the EM6000 focuses on prevention. It is an automated landing gear system that eliminates manual cranking and prevents unauthorized trailer movement. The device installs directly onto the landing gear of trailers, creating an additional layer of protection that makes it significantly harder for thieves to move or steal equipment. At the same time, it automates the lifting process, easing the physical strain on drivers who traditionally have to crank the landing gear manually, which is giving rise to health issues.

Cranking landing gear is a repetitive, high-force task that inflicts severe wear and tear on the human body, leading to a cascade of chronic and acute injuries. Over time, drivers are ultimately leaving the trucking profession. While at the same time, the younger generation does not want to start in the industry due to the current heavy lifting.

"Trailers in the US and Canada are especially vulnerable because they are often disconnected from the truck and left exposed," said Ratan Baid, Founder of ELD Mandate. "With the high costs of trailers and cargo, theft has a devastating financial impact. Our EM6000 can provide a proactive safeguard that makes theft significantly harder."

The company has also been collaborating closely with a Fortune 500 trucking company that owns a large fleet of trailers to refine the EM6000 and test its scalability across large fleets. This partnership reflects the broader need for solutions that move beyond reactive tracking to address the problem at its source.

For fleets and shippers, the EM6000 offers ripple effects that extend beyond theft prevention. Insurance providers could take note of the reduced risk, potentially leading to fewer claims and financial savings, whereas shippers could benefit from increased confidence knowing their cargo is better protected. Trinetra Guard, powered by ELD Mandate, has ensured that the product is accessible and easy to adopt, with a do-it-yourself installation supported by detailed tutorials and a dedicated 24/7 support team.

Founded in 2017 after the introduction of a new mandate requiring electronic logging devices for interstate travel, ELD Mandate has since established itself as a trusted technology partner in the trucking industry, serving clients nationwide. While the company continues to provide a suite of telematics and compliance products, Baid says the EM6000 is set to become its flagship solution.

The EM6000 is predicted to be showcased at upcoming trade shows in North America, where the company expects to receive feedback from fleets of varying sizes and expand its adoption across the US and Canada.

Additionally, aside from the EM6000, Trinetra Guard offers more full-spectrum trailer security suites, including the EM4000 AI Camera System, which has dual cameras inside and outside the trailer for real-time surveillance, the EM200 Hidden GPS Tracker which helps to covert location tracking with an embedded camera, and a Smart Trailer Door Locker, which has an electromechanical lock with remote access and a tamper-proof design

Powered by advanced AI, Trinetra Guard continuously verifies trailer location against scheduled routes and alerts fleet managers to any deviation, ensuring real-time protection, accountability, and peace of mind.

With patents filed and growing interest from major carriers, Trinetra Guard, powered by ELD Mandate, is preparing for a nationwide rollout by the end of the year, aiming to fundamentally change the future of trailer and cargo security. "It's a win-win solution for everyone, except for the ones looking to steal," Baid adds. "Ultimately, the goal is to help lock smarter, drive safer, and deliver more.'
