Trigger Point concluded on ITV this weekend and it's safe to say that there were many tense moments, mainly involving bombs, but not all viewers were taken in by the mystery of who was behind the terror campaign.
When it was revealed who was the chief organiser of the bombings, which saw lead character Lana's best mate, Nut, and brother, Billy, murdered, there was a collective sigh of 'yup, called it,' amongst viewers.

Last warning for spoilers.
Warren Brown's Karl Maguire was unmasked at the by-election count as the main man behind the campaign and had actually framed John Hudson (Kris Hitchen), who was found knocked out in a chapel and who'd been trying to connect the dots between the bombings himself.
Karl was fuming when he saw that Lana (Vicky McClure) wasn't in pursuit of John and was at the election count instead as he interrupted it with explosives tied around his waist and a trigger in his hand - angry about a cover-up of the deaths in his unit a decade before.
Viewers were.... not shocked, shall we say.

And Angela tweeted: "I said in the office weeks ago that I thought it was Karl & I was nearly laughed out of the room…."
Fans of the show were also pleased to hear that Trigger Point is getting a second series, you can read more on that, here.
