Tricky brainteaser challenges you to find the cat with no tail as fast as possible

When it comes to challenging yourself and testing out how good your observational skills are, nothing beats a good brainteaser.

They're great for putting your mind to the test and are a handy way to make the commute to work less dull. Or, for an extra challenge, sharing them with family or friends to see who can solve them the quickest provides a bit of healthy competition.

So why not try this cat-based brainteaser that challenges you to find the cat without the tail in amongst its other feline companions?

Cats.com has created a series of tricky puzzles, all involving cute cat cartoons, that are designed to improve your problem-solving skills and make you more alert.

Take a look at the image below, in which you'll see a variety of different cat breeds such as Siamese and tortoiseshell with their tails proudly on display - except one of them is missing one.

Can you spot the cat with no tail? (Cats.com)

Can you see which feline is without its tail? Try solving it as fast as you can and let us know how you did in the comments.

The answer can be found below, so don't scroll if you want to avoid a spoiler.

The cat missing a tail can be located in the second row down, second cat along from the right.

If you managed to crack that one, try your hand at another puzzle created by the cat care company that challenges you to find all of the hidden felines in the image.

Try and spot the seven hidden cats in this image (Cats.com)

In this garden scene, there are seven cats hidden in plain sight - but they aren't easy to spot. Take a good look and see if you can look out all of them - but be careful not to confuse them with the foxes.

Be sure to share these brainteasers with your friends and family to see who's really got the best problem-solving skills of all.
