CHANDIGARH/MOHALI/PANCHKULA: The Tricity reported seven new Covid-19 cases on Friday. Mohali registered three cases. Of the 95,704 cases, 94,545 have been cured.
There are 11 active cases. The death toll is 1,148. Meanwhile, 653 people were vaccinated on Friday. First dose was administered to 429 people, including 85 in the age group of 15-17, and the second to 164, including 54 in the age group of 15-17, and 334 got jabs in the age group of 12 to 14 years. As many as 60 received the booster dose.
So far, 11,29,655 have received the first dose and 8,34,840 the second in the district. Chandigarh reported two new cases, taking the count to 91,937, including 1,165 deaths,with 13 active cases. Four patients were discharged, raising the recovery count to 90,759.
Panchkula recorded two new cases. Of 44,134 cases, 43,718 have been cured. There are two active cases. The death toll is 414. Meanwhile, 924 people were vaccinated on Friday. First dose was administered to 636, including eight in the age group of 15-17, and the second to 191, including 89 in the age group of 15-17, and 570 received jabs between age 12 to 14 years. As many as 97 received the booster dose.
