CHANDIGARH: The city reported 15 Covid cases on Friday while 18 patients were discharged. Active cases have reached 91 and positivity rate was recorded at 1.32%. There are 92,374 confirmed cases, including 1,165 deaths. The recovery count is 91,118.
Mohali reported seven Covid cases and no death on Friday. Of the 96,009 cases reported so far, 94,820 patients have been cured. There are 40 active cases. The district's death tally is 1,149.
Meanwhile, 1,493 people were vaccinated in Mohali on Friday. The first dose was administered to 157 persons, including 23 in the age group of 15 to 17 years and the second to 557 including 100 in the age group of 15 to 17 years while 420 in the 12 to 14 year age group were vaccinated. As many as 779 persons received the booster dose.
Panchkula also reported seven fresh Covid cases on Friday. No death was reported. Of the 44,328 cases reported so far, 43,894 patients have been cured. There are 20 active cases. The district's death tally is 414.
A total of 1,190 people were vaccinated in Panchkula. The first dose was administered to 241 and the second to 623 while 603 children between 12 and 14 years of age received jabs.
